The base game released on Steam in November 2022. Players step into the role of a police officer. The game allows 2-player coop and was developed using Unreal Engine.
The game has gotten two major add-ons:
- Highway Expansion - released in June 2024
- Contraband Expansion - released in November 2025
I joined Aesir Interactive in November 2023 and was part of the team working on live updates for the base game as well as the Contraband Expansion.
My tasks were not limited to, but included:
- Programming:
- Ambulance using stretcher to collect heavily injured NPCs
- Vehicle gadgets: Snare Net + Launch Control
- Vehicle customization in garage
- Felony Stop & Self-defense feature
- Find hidden packages with Cargo Scanner player tool
- Leadership:
- Overseeing development of the Contraband Expansion as tech-lead (~1 year)
- Task allocation, planning, risk mitigation, bug triages, …
